Fraud control

An updated Fraud Risk Plan was developed and implemented in 2009–10. Annual fraud control data was collected and reported to the Attorney-General’s Department. These measures help to ensure that the agency continues to comply with the Commonwealth Fraud Control Guidelines.

The Director’s certification that the agency has appropriate fraud prevention plans and processes in place is contained in this annual report’s letter of transmittal to the minister (page iii).

No cases of suspected fraud were reported and no investigations were undertaken during 2009–10.
